Here is a glipse into the farm schedule for the week.

On the to-do list:
-direct seeding arugula, spinach and lettuce (to keep greens coming into the fall)
- hoeing sweet potatoes, carrots, eggplant and hot peppers (to make sure these crops don't get swamped by weeds)
- transplanting more broccoli, lettuce, basil and kale
- picking up our new volunteers and getting them set up in the barn
- getting the new truck rigged up with the right electric hook ups for pulling our trailers
- mowing down cover crops
- and of course harvesting, harvesting, harvesting

-Dan and Tracy

Thanks to Chris who came up to lend a hand and pick up the veggies for your cookout. It is great to make connections with our city members, so you're always welcome to come up to the farm - especially to work with us for the day. It doesn't look like we'll make it down to the event, as things here are just still too hectic to get away.

By the way, here's this week's share: zukes, cukes, eggplant, peppers, chard, carrots, beets, garlic, rosemary.... and we'll see about those tomatoes - keep your fingers crossed!
